Crazy times of old, happy times forward

I'd just like to say thankyou alcohol for all you have done for me if it weren't for you i would still have a brother David, you see he was a great friend of yours but i started to see through you when he died last year of cirrhosis and septicemia oh yeah aged 29,i should have seen you for what you were the year previously when you helped me across the road causing me to be knocked over with a broken tibia and fibula, 3 fractures in my skull but i refused to let anyone blame you and blamed it on an "accident", i really want to say cheers for all the nasty things i have said to my partner and my family and friends when i am with you, not to mention the friends who have turned their backs on me because of the way i have let them down and portrayed myself as a total selfish twat, not forgetting the visits at gone midnight because i felt lonely and never stopped to think they had work and families at their homes. You have been my "friend" since i was 15 years old and have helped me to break the law and be put into prison 4 times for the most idiotic of things, stealing when i had no reason to steal and causing damage to other peoples businesses in my quest of stupidity, well i'm afraid my daughter is more important to me so i shan't be needing your company anymore and only wish i could have made that decision a long time ago,before i ruined my reputation and self respect and the respect of people i had known for years, so there you go, you were never my friend you were the worst enemy i could have wished into my life and this is where i start to rebuild everything i lost and the respect of others, thanks for nothing, oh yeah it takes 2 to tango i know but i 'aint tangoing with you anymore.
